Welcome

Get to know your designer & hostess

I’m so excited you’re considering me for your wedding stationery and designs. Your wedding invitations are more than just a check box; they are the first experience your guests have of your wedding day. A wedding isn’t just about the beauty and decor; it’s about welcoming your guests in a joyful and authentic way that makes them feel right at home.

Having planned a small, fifty guest wedding in ten weeks myself and designed stationery and experiences for weddings of all sizes, I’m here to walk you through every step of the process. From etiquette must-haves to those unique nice-to-haves, you’ll receive design and hosting guidance to make your day unforgettable.

Based in North Augusta, South Carolina, I’m happy to meet locally throughout the Central Savannah River Area and everywhere, virtually. Distance no longer matters in the realm of virtual experiences, and I’m happy to coach you through your options. As a team of one, expect to hear directly from me every step of the way.

I’m so thankful for the opportunity to serve you and to have a career in which I can bring joy through art.

 The Process

Let’s chat

After five years of designing weddings, I’ve realized the custom process is not for everyone. First, we will chat about your goals, timeline, and priorities. I want to hear all about how you met, the proposal story, and your plans for beginning your life together.

My goal is bring your vision to life, help create welcoming experiences for your guests, and to guide you through budget considerations. Complete the wedding questionnaire, and I will set up a complimentary phone call so we can decide if we are a good fit for each other.

Hosting advice

Why do I have to hand write addresses? Do I need an RSVP card? What about a seating chart? For most of us, our wedding is the first time we have EVER planned a large event with such importance. Yes, you’re inviting your family and friends but it’s not a spur-of-the moment tailgate.

I’ll be here to help you navigate etiquette, some mistakes to avoid, and how to be the best hosts you can while still enjoying the wedding meal you are paying for.

Initial Designs

In the initial design phase, I will develop an inspiration board for your paper goods and listen to your feedback. This is the time to share any images or Pinterest boards you’ve saved to ensure I capture your unique style. After this feedback, I will begin drafts of the paper goods you’ve requested.

Design for save the dates should occur 10-12 months prior to your wedding date, with mailing 7-8 months prior.

Invitation Suite

After the initial drafts have been reviewed, I will begin refining the look and feel of your invitation suite. Once your final approval has been received, then it’s off to production and ready to deliver!

Design for invitations should occur 6-8 months prior to your wedding date, with mailing to occur 2-3 months prior.

Wedding Day Items

You’ve mailed your invitations and have begun to receive responses, now is the time to consider day of items to bring the entire experience together from programs to menus, place cards to special signage.

Design for these items should occur 1-2 months prior, with delivery the week of your wedding.

Delivery

All of your designs can be assembled and shipped to you to safely bring to your venue. I am happy to mail an invitation suite to your photographer so that’s one less thing to remember on the big day!

If you need photography, floral, or wedding planning advice, I’m happy to recommend my preferred vendors to make your day run as smooth as possible.

Considerations

I recommend this process to help ensure the best stationery experience for you and to account for variations in printing timelines. Schedule permitting, I will accommodate special rush requests (orders due within 6 weeks of the initial consultation) for an additional fee.

After “I do”

Please stay in touch! I want to hear about your adventures together and to celebrate the next milestones you have in store.
